Windows Shield Center is a false security clien. This program highjacks the users desktop and autostars when you boot your computer. This program has had several names in the past including Windows Utility Tool, Windows Security & Control, Windows Optimization & Security, Windows System Optimizator, Windows Optimization Center, Privacy Corrector, Privacy Guard 2010.

Once installed in your computer, Windows Shield Center starts and runs a scan. The scan results are fabricated and not real. It’s all a scam to make the user think this is a legitimate antivirus client and an attempt to scare the user into making a purchase. This program uses several tradmarks and logos in an effort to look legit.

Now you simply need to ignore all these notifications and alerts because these are nothing but fake information which is being displayed only to make you think that your computer has some issues that needs to be fixed. In reality, the problems this software is talking about doesn’t exist.

Besides giving all these fake security alerts, Windows Shield Center will also block other programs and can even download other malicious applications in the machine to make things worse.

Option 1. To Stop this process you can either browse to the file location shown below and re-name the file and then restart your computer. Now browse to that file location again and delete the file.

Option 2. Boot into safe mode and browse to the below folder for you Operating System

Option 3. Log into a different user account and either browse to the file below and delete it or use your antivirus client to remove it by running a scan.
