Windows Security & Control is a rouge anti-spyware program a clone of Windows Optimization Center, Privacy Corrector and PC optimizer 2010. Like most rogue or fake security clients, this product attempts to trick users into making a purchase of the software by using false and exaggerated scan results and attempting to use the Windows (Microsoft) logo and trade mark. These kinds of false security clients are nothing new. Stay away from this software and do not make a purchase of it.
At this time it appears this software is not stealing any personal data. It’s just a software scam were they attempt to trick you into making a purchase. Uninstalling this client through the control panel will not work.
