HDDFix Manual Removal Procedures

The first step you must take in order to remove HDDFix is to stop the following processes. Watch the video above for guidance.

• [random].exe ( Example is XNWELmDjqqUGs7.exe ) Your file trace will be named different.
• [random].exe ( Example is rRhsLiHTolG.exe ) Your file trace will be named different.

Top Stop this process you can either browse to the file location shown below and re-name the file and then restart your computer. Then browse to that file location again and delete the file.

The next step in HDDFix removal is to delete the following file:

Windows XP:

• C:\ProgramData\[random characters].exe
• C:\ProgramData\[random characters].exe

Windows Vista/7:

• C:\ProgramData\[random characters].exe
• C:\ProgramData\[random characters].exe

Delete the below Keys: Should be 2 of them in most cases

• HKEY_Current_USer\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run XNWELmDjqqUGs7.exe
• HKEY_Current_USer\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run rRhsLiHTolG.exe
