Description: AV Clean, which also passes under the name of AV-Clean, is a malicious rogue program that claims to be anti-malware. The main aim of AV Clean is to try and trick users into purchasing a software license. This rogue program gets installed on user systems via Trojans that get downloaded without the user's knowledge from malicious websites by exploiting weaknesses in security. Once installed, AV-Clean will proceed to perform endless fake scans on the user's system, generating fake reports that state that the computer is dangerously infected with various malware applications. Removing files alone is not sufficient to get rid of AV Clean completely. To ensure complete AV-Clean removal, you must remove the following keys and settings from the Windows Registry as well:

Now it is safe to say that AV Clean no longer exists on your computer. Even if this is true in most cases, it is recommended to scan your PC using genuine antivirus software such as Spyware Doctor with Antivirus if you have not done so yet.
