About Internet Antivirus:
This virus has been around for a little while now. The original sites were users used to be directed to has been shut down but this client continues to evolve. It also goes by the name of Internet Antivirus Pro. this is a fake security client that has no real benefit. Those who are infected with this virus are going to notice the program constantly prompting the user to make a purchase as well as auto running scans that show nothing but fake and bogus results. The constant warnings of a virus are made to try and scare the user into purchasing the product. We are classifying this as Smitfraud and an unwanted program. Do not purchase this program.
Some symptoms of This Virus:
* Bogus Scan results * Auto Scans on Start-up * Warning coming out of a fake shield in the system tray * pop-ups and re-directs to the fake software’s website * constant warnings of being infected as well as false statements of other trojans * Desktop Image replaced with another image and Task Manger disabled

Delete Internet Antivirus registry values:

Delete files: c:\Program Files\Internet Antivirus\ will house most of these files. Your desktop and other shared locations will hold the .lnk files. Delete directories: ( Please note that in most cases everything in this folder can be deleted. Just be sure it’s the correct folder 😉
